Joseph is a chartered architect in the UK and has been practicing for over 20 years. In addition to working on projects in Canada and the UK, Joseph has taught at various schools of architecture and presently teaches at the University of Dundee, Scotland and Wuhan University, China. Joseph's interest in the physics of low energy design led him to become a certified Passivhaus consultant in 2012.
Alex graduated from the University of Dundee with a masters in architecture in 2009. He is presently a PhD researcher and tutor at the university. His doctoral research "An Investigation of Contextually responsive Ultra-Low Energy Housing in Rural Scotland" seeks alternative forms for rural development combining appropriate scale and identity.
